Abdet is situated in a perfect location in the Guadalest Valley, which lies inland from Benidorm/Altea. It is easily accessed from several airports - Alicante (1 hour), Murcia (2.5 hours), Valencia (2,5 hours), and even Madrid (4 hours).
Climbing: There are many local climbing venues including the Abdet (El Flare crags within walking distance), Echo Valley and Ponoch (20 minutes drive), Guadalest (10 minutes), Pleasure Domes (20 minutes), Lomo de Leon, Serella and many more. Sella, Toix and Calpe are all easily accessible in under an hour. Details. Barcelona is another popular travel destination and it is only a few hours away from Costa Blanca. Walking: The area is also superb for walking, and you can do many good walks direct from the houses

Shopping and Restaurants: A visit to spain would not be complete without sampling some of the great food and drink on offer. Abdet has two bar/restaurants, just a short walk from the houses, and there are many more restaurants in the valley. The village has daily deliveries of bread via a bread van, and also several visits each week by fruit, vegetable and meat/fish vans. There are small shops in Confrides nearby and also bakers and shops in Benimantell and Guadalest, just a short drive away. There are also many good supermarkets and restaurants at La Nucia (25 mins drive away).
