Directions fom Alicante Airport to Abdet

Please take care at the airport as there have been reports of thefts.

1) Leave the airport and follow signs for Valencia A7 (that's the motorway heading north). You get onto the motorway about 2km out of the airport and it's well signposted.

FLIGHTS

Alicante Aiport is best airport to use, it is about an hours drive to Abdet. There are cheap flights from most European airports (Ryanair, Easyjet, etc). Valencia is also possible. If flights are looking expensive and you have the time you can try flights to Madrid. It's an interesting journey to make !

CAR/BUS

You really need a hire car as bus transport beyond Benidorm is very limited.  If you are part of a guided holiday we will arrange transfers from Alicante Airport for you. We may ask you to catch the express bus which runs every hour from the airport to Benidorm.

CAR HIRE - we suggest you have a car, they are very cheap to hire, ususally £5 a day or less, although most will charge you for a full tank of petrol as well - we recommend www.rhinocarhire.com

Cheap flights to the Costa Blanca - Here are best options for cheap flights out to Spain and the Costa Blanca. The closest airport is Alicante. This may not be the cheapest option though, so look for flights to Valencia and Murcia (both about 2 to 3 hours drive on very good roads). You can also fly to Madrid (usually very cheap with easyjet, the drive is around 4 hours but on toll free and usually very quiet motorway). This option is certainly worth considering for longer trips with groups of more than two.
