Here are a few items of news from the Guadalest Valley. There is plenty to do all year around of course, so we are including a few notes on climbing, cycling, canoeing and walking.

accommodation in either of our village houses. Both houses now have wood pellet stoves to keep warm on those chilly winter evenings!
Goats on the Aixorta Ridge, whilst walking you may also see Mouflon (wild goat) & Wild Boars
CLIMBING: New routes on the Serella Outcrops Contact us for details of this great new sports and trad venue which is in a perfect location on the forest tracks above Abdet. Despite an altitude of over 3,000 feet the walk ins are only around a minute!

Cycling: We have information on the Via Verdes routes near Alcoy, a short drive or pleasane bike ride from Abdet. The routes take in some amazing tunnels and bridges. We hope to have a video clip on the web site soon, along with more information on some recently developed mountain biking on the Aitana mountain.
If you are in the area on the 21st October why not take part in the BTT (MTB) race at Guadalest. Suitable for all enthusiastic riders! |

Canoeing: this is possible on the Reservoir at Guadalest and is a great way to spend a day. Ask us for canoe hire. |

Walking: We have details of the Bernia ridge circuit on our web site. A great easy walk that visits an old fort, fonts, mountain settlements and even goes through the mountian via a cave!
